These are the pics of the 1/10th model I am building . I am chain driving both rear axles from a drill motor and gearbox which according to their info delivers 600RPM so hopefully should be arround 6KPH .
The prop is 55mm dia and will be driven by a 540 motor . It may be direct drive or 3:1 reduction , we will suck it and see .
I know the wheels are not correct , but I have sent two emails to two companies in Germany that supply the right size and treaded wheels ,and still no reply !
The rear axles are running on a pivot point and that means I can manage a 30 degree plus slope with both axles still in ground contact , and the front axle will also have a centre pivot point and that will mean the front wheels can also be in full contact on uneven ground .
Thanks again to those that have sent me info on their models and wheel suppliers .
