What 6 volt motors would you suggest if i change from 12 volt 600 direct drive motors.

We would like to help, but need to know what the question means

Motors don't really have voltages at all, even if it is written on the box.  Not sure if I remember a 12V S600 either
So - you are using a 600 on 12V, and want to go to 6V.

Wonder why - do you want longer duration?  If so just do it.  The motor will run slower, take much less currrent.  Job done
Try it in the Domestic flotation tank

We could be much more helpful if we knew some or more of:
Type of boat/size/weight
Prop size
battery (I'm guessing a 12V sealed lead acid brick)
type of motor - colour, picture where did it come from?
ESC type
and the all important  - what do you want the boat to do?

Get the same motor with 6 volts on the label instead of 12 volts.  Same performance at the cost of twice the current draw.  Or, like andrewh says, just run it on 6 volts and accept the reduced performance.
