Movie music on TV - L'estasi dell'Oro

I love movie music.  John Williams of course, and Ennio Morricone.
A superb track from The Good The Bad and the Ugly has been played incessantly on a TV advert lately, and the movie is showing on SKY now.
L'estasi dell'Oro, or The Ecstasy of Gold. You will recognise it immediately.

Clip one:  Performance with full orchestra and vocals, conducted by Ennio Morricone.

or in context, the actual scene from the movie.  Watching a film you don't realise how much goes into the soundtrack

What's you favourite movie music ?

OK, break over.  I had better get back to my deck planking.

I have enjoyed movie music in the past but now I find it too intrusive not only in movies and TV programmes but in daily life as well, especially in cafes and stores. How many radio stations do you know that doesn't play music? I enjoy Radio 5 because there is so little music, otherwise radio is a dead medium to me. let's have less unwanted music in our lives please.

Well I suppose Lalo Schifrin spoils me for choice when you  consider his career.

See the wiki list of films etc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lalo_Schifrin

The final scene from Once Upon A Time In The West, as the camera pulls back to reveal the march of the railroad and the death of the 'Old West', fantastic, Morricone at his best... And the main theme from Predator, cos I can be a bit of a heathen at times :-)
