Whats the best material to use for the Rudder Tube and Propeller Tube penetrations of the boats hull ?
It calls for both a 5mm propeller shaft and rudder stock

For the prop shaft you could make your own. But they are cheap to buy anyway. Its best to have stainless steel as the inner shaft and brass or again stainless outer tube .The bushes could be brass or poly.Again the rudder outer tube could be plastic or brass with brass inner. As said there are plenty of ready made shafts and rudders. It all depends on if youre going for scale etc or just want something that does the job. MMB do make propshafts.A search on Mayhems traders site should guide you as to your purchase.John.
