Why can't I log off?
« on: January 21, 2012, 06:44:53 pm »

Obviously, one could ask why I would EVER want to log off from this god amongst forums but.......Thomas wants to log on to post.
I cannot log off I'm using Firefox. I press log off and I'm still there, logged in.
Only by using IE  <*< can we log in as somebody else.
Anybody else suffered from this?

IN firefox somewhere there will be an option to "clear cookies" - cookies are the mothod by which the login to Mayhem (and other sites) remains persistent even after the browser is shutdown. If you clear these then when you go to Mayhem you will be prompted to log in and it should work as normal from that point - I just can't rmember exactly where it is in FF. If you can't find it easily, Google will provide.

It's under "Tools" ... "Clear Recent History"  :-))

Thanks all.
That worked.
Of course, it's Saturday and I'm a few glasses of wine down so I didn't spot the option to only delete cookies before I pressed go but....hey....never mind.
