Model boats caught on satellite
« on: February 18, 2012, 09:10:29 pm »

Have a look at this link http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ll=-37.041612,174.891514&spn=0.000851,0.001667&t=h&z=20 on which you can clearly see a fleet of scale yachts racing. These are most likely to be the 1 meter yachts that regularly sale here. I can sometimes see the sails from our family room windows.

This got me wondering how many other pictures of ponds have been captured by satellite with models on them..?

I guess if you have come across any, post the url to the map!

Just had a look at your post Guy - you seem to have a green lake and a slate blue lake - do you sail on both??

I'm very confused Guy, I used to sail at Black Park years ago. Now it seems to have relocated to New Zealand!!!!!!!  {-)
