Hi Ian
hows the build coming along any more photo's yet ?
Since I took the photo's of the inside of mine I have changed the steering arms and used stronger rods to stop the flexing you can see in the photo's
Still tugging  well though

Regards
Bill :-))

quite a fair bit of power that! %% maybe you could get a luggage scale tie it too the bath taps and then to the tug and get a reading!!

Only if the bollard on the tug is anchord into the hull though dont do it if its stuck to the top or itl rip off and youl get a mushful of 20lb boat!

not sure thats maths  :embarrassed:, dont know if multiplying the reading on the scale to the scale of the tug would give you the right answer. make sure though that the bollard on your tug is well anchored down way into the depth of the hull with a nice fat bolt or something.  like this one on bills.

from the pictures it looks like your speaker is at the front. im talking about the bollard on the back and the bolt going down between the propshafts. Are you biker by any chance or a metalhead?

it should be ok . seeing as i built the deck structuring with towing in mind !!! and it is super strong ..  i can pick it up by the winch so im sure its not going to be a problem !
