Hi, I need to convert my dx5e back to 2 self centering sticks.
I did this once before, but changed it back to a rachet on the LH stick to suit my steam boat, so I've got all the little bits and pieces to do it.
I've searched the forum for a thread on doing this, I "think" by Dave Milburn, but I can't find it!
Could someone please point me in the right direction.

It's too late to edit, but I fixed the problem.
I figure if I can build a steamboat form scratch, I should be able to do a mechanical fix that other people have done!

Sorry, no photos.
From memory, the hardest thing originally was getting the bits and pieces to do the conversion.
I got mine from the shop that i bought it from.
Putting them in place is fairly easy, just look at the arrangement on the other stick, and fiddle about getting the spring hooked up to the pivot arm and put the screw in!

I swapped the ratchet and spring loaded bits form one stick to the other on my DX5 and if I can do it anybody can!. I also opened up the Mode reversing swich which is useful when swapping from sail to steam boats with the same Tx. Cheers, Ian.
