Has anyone ever built a model of the one of these subsurface torpedo boats ? If so could you please forward me a link to any photos of the model. If not, would anyone like to make a model of the vessel ?
My reason for asking is that in the early 1970's I used to make unusual radio controlled model boats such as the Russian gun boat Novgorod and the Winans Cigar Ship (the one with the turbine like paddle wheel around the hull centre, see my website at
http://www.gentoosjournals.co.uk/Links/History.html), but I never got around to making a model of this boat. I have the full Info Pack as supplied to the American Congress in 1902 as a proposal for building the vessels, which includes hull drawings.
If you would like a copy of the proposal then please contact me, preferably via the "contact me" link on my website because as I now no longer build model boats I rarely visit this forum.
