Fishing - for real!
« on: April 15, 2016, 05:45:14 pm »

This is certainly worth visiting.
Markku Lankinen is the name of this self-made inventor.
Make sure to see the other about five videos Youtube search word "Markku Lankinen"

I met him at the Helsinki ModelExpo today. His latest vessel is a little miracle. One of his videos shows her maiden voyage on a Finnish lake that is just loosing its ice cover.

I try to make a little report on the new fishing boat under "Working vessels". It's got three radios; one onboard, operated by an array of servos. Apparently, he had not heard of telemetry. It didn't prevent him from creating telemetry of sorts of his own.

Trial-and-error doesn't spell failure - right?

Martin Holst from Denmark builds large model trawlers with working winches / net drums and fully scale working trawl gear

His pelagic trawler models even have internal tanks which he pumps water into to simulate the trawlers being full of fish
