PERKASA PROPELLER
« on: February 22, 2012, 09:24:17 pm »

Hi all,

I'm getting close to finishing my rebuild of a RTR 1/32 Perkasa and I want to put on some brass props in lieu of the plastic ones that were originally there.

Can you please advise
1) am I really better replacing with brass props?
2) does anyone know if the plastic ones are realistic form?

I did collect a load of photos when i started this, but in the way of all things they are now 'somewhere' on my hard drive and out of reach!

many thanks

I suspect it all depends on how fast you want it to go - 2-blade plastic are probably a lot faster than scale-type brass 3-bladers, but others will know far more about this than me.

Don't need her to be a grey blur that needs turning the opposite direction every 3 seconds - rather see what I've got, but if she lifts her nose a bit i wouldn't be complaining!

I personally doubt with those props if she will get her nose out of the water 55mm std 2 bladers that what you need trust me I should know.
