Sri Lankan Tug Nandhimitra
« on: February 26, 2012, 11:25:19 pm »

In the 1980s Model Boats included a plan of the Sri Lankan Tug Nandhimitra in one of their issues. It was a classic 1960s diesel tug built by Hessle in Hull.

Did anyone ever make a model of it, or know someone who did?

Or have any information about the real tug?

Thanks Dave. Doesn't seem to be much out there. I have the Pottinger plans but that's about it.

What were her usual ports of call - I could use them as a search criteria with a year say.
There will be an image somewhere  O0

Dave,
She was a harbour tug in Colombo. That's all I know, sorry.

Hi Steve

Did you ever get anywhere with the tug?
