Greetings from this side of the pond. I thought for my first post I would show you a few pics. of my trip to Dossin Great Lakes Museum. It's a museum on
 Belle Isle just east of Detroit, Michigan. It's focus is the maritime history of the Great lakes. For more information you can go to  detroithistorical.
One exhibit is the actual pilot house from the S.S. William Clay Ford, a Great Lakes vessel. Enjoy.

Those paddle steamers are a wee bit impressive. 3 funnels and a tidlly pair of wheels? Still, lots of room in there for machinery. (unlike Miss America, which seems rather full of machinery!)
