Ferry across the Mersey
« on: March 01, 2012, 09:12:35 pm »

First things first, Pie and a pint in "The Lion", underneath the rather nice sky-light.
Then down to Pier Head, rather spoilt by the burger van.
The ferry arrives, and a better view of the Liver Buildings

HMS Liverpool moored just down river,
A view of "the Three Graces" plus the Liverpool to the left and new museum to right.
Passing Tug "Victory"
Return from Birkenhead after a few more jars, sailing into the sunset.
And a last view of the ferry

The pictures have to be hosted by an outside site. It cannot be done directly here.

Hope this helps

You missed out "Johnnie" Walker's statue and that other one, you know, the songwriter chappie!
The last time I took the ferry the U boat had just arrived ine Birkenhead and was sitting on the dockside looking as if it was ready to put 2 fish into Spiller's Petfoods.
