Working Boats - Trawler 'Celia'
« on: March 10, 2012, 12:04:05 am »

Being a new member, I looked through numerous posts to see what goes on.    I noticed that a while ago there were folk interested in my own favourite small stern trawler model, the Caldercraft 'Celia'.    It seemed that information was sought.    I have many ship yard plans and diagramitical stuff, and I remembered that 'Celia's' double existed among them.    I refer to the 'Christina II' built by Blondecell Marine Ltd., of Sway, Lymington, Hants.    The specs for the hull and wheelhouse are identical, and only minor changes appear to be in deck equipment.    If anyone would like a copy [/b] then just catch me online, but do remember that I live in NZ !      NB. A side view of 'Celia' is included.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say hello to everyone.    My own interests are in modelling generally, with a liking for tug boats & trawlers.    I only deal in 'N' & '00' gauge models made from card, and this relates to railway modelling.    I also enjoy flying RC aircraft.

Best wishes, Jelly,  Tauranga NZ.

'Celia'  -   Still as lovely as ever !     Very nice work indeed fellas.     Thanks for the pics, and the welcome.
The one thing that NZ does not seem to have is an abundance of little harbours full of intersting fishing boats.
Hundreds of sailing boats, and a few nice tugs, but no Pittenweems and the like !     Cheers, Jelly.
