Haven’t had a lot of time over the last fortnight for the models but managed to complete the funnel logo and managed to get a start building the bow winch. Still quite a lot to do before the winch is complete. I will post photos as I progress.

Managed to get some photos of the Maltby at the weekend (remembered the camera) still got a lot to do before she is finished, hoping to get a start on the stern winch this week.

A bit more done to the Maltby, capstan finished and the winch just about complete only the tow hook to make.

Thats a brilliantly constructed hook assembly CC....but how does it work?......hydraulic force to close the bite & loss of hydraulic pressure = spring return to open?

We have a Svitzser here in the Port of Kembla......I will try & get an image of the stern hook.......Derek
