saw this in the dock at liverpool today i dont know what its called but looked like it would be a good model subject pictures arnt all that good but i only used my phone to take them

The is the former RFA Fort George. she has been steadily striped for spares over the last twelve months.

Although expensive to run, the 2 "new" Forts are (were) very capable ships. It seems to be another act of madness to withdraw one of the only 2 main fleet replenishment ships before replacements come on stream. I may well be wrong, but I believe the RFA is now reduced to about 11 ships. A far cry from even the 1990s.BY.
