I'm back
« Reply #125 on: March 21, 2012, 01:16:46 am »

Like so many others, I've had to re-register and can't retrieve my previous postings etc... >>:-(

However, it's great to be back up and running.  O0

I'm sure Martin & co will eventually be able to retrieve all previously entered information once things settle down again.  :-))

Until then, I'll settle for being a deckhand again  :embarrassed:

Regards,

Ray.

I finally got reregistered after several tries over several days.  It would be helpful if the rules for passwords were spelled out, instead of having to guess how long it needs to be, and what letters are permissible or not, and any other rules.  And why is all the security necessary?  What needs to be so secret about a bunch of old farts talking about model boats?

One thing that's strange is that I can understand my profile being lost together with my posts.... but for some strange reason since I've re-registered my name again it has ascribed a post to me that I never made  {:-{  http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=30278.msg302945#msg302945      That may say more about the type of error that crept into the forum, apparently the database thinks I'm partially Vince !  :embarrassed:  ........................

That's 2 posts more than me tassie. I'll have to get posting some more builds, I don't want to be a 'shipmate' again.  <:(

After the meltdown, I had to re-register, and have now noticed that my post count is only 1,previously before the meltdown it was over 100, does this mean that i,ll have to have 25 posts before i can sell an item, {:-{

A good question. I'm in the same boat!!!!! as are lots of others. I know Martin is trying to sort out the posts problem but I look forward to a response to this specific question.

  No problems for me, but I'm a little worried to see that my number of posts seems fixed on 666.

Hi Martin,
   Any chance I can get my posts history back - not vital but would be nice!

Just checked that the "Nautical, strange but true" thread was still there.....I'd hate to lose it. Being the 30th anniversary of the Falklands conflict I zeroed in on that, and was surprised at many of the subsequent comments by "mayhemmers" were in a way very apposite to the situation we, as a country, now find ourselves in. Lack of resources. Money, in other words. But our "politicians" still seem to find the defence of the country subservient to squandering £Billions on welfare. I despair.....again. BY.
