I think that people could just be so witty with coming up with names that are on a play of words.  I actually like the idea of coming up with really witty names just like these.  Though a lot of them can actually be rooted from earlier inspirations that might have fueled their idea just like that.

...Hi Guys...

I saw the name " FECKIN HULL" on a small boat in a Clyde Marina...I thought it was funny...

We used it for our team name in the Portpatrick Life Boat Quiz last year and " Feckin Hull , We,re Sinking " won the prize for the best team name...

...Best Regards...Norry...

People need to take care when thinking up funny names for their boats. When I had my own boat there was a motor cruiser called 'Don't Panic' which got into trouble off the Isle of Wight. The subsequent radio exchanges with Solent Coastguard were confusing to say the least!

I heard of one called "Hoof Hearted" in the Irish Sea.  Seems that nobody in the Coastguard could be persuaded to read it out on air more than once.

That name has been around for years... it was on a cabin cruiser back in the late 70s moored up at Maldon Marina.
