mtronics wire broken

I have an mtronics speed controler one of the thin wires ( the one nearest the case ) to the on off switch has broken off just as it enters the case put any heat near it and the case just bubbles up any ideas if it can be mended or just bin it Yours Scout

The only thing that comes to mind is to gind off some of the resin and resolder. or hammer a pin in glue in place then solder to that. You know doubt no Mtroniks do do a repair service. John.

Mtroniks do have a repair service, its on their site somewhere, if you can't find it just email them and they'll tell you about it. I emailed them and they sent me an address to sent the ESC to, along with a brief description of the problem with the ESC, i never did get round to sending it though...

There is a Technical Helpline No. as well as the normal one.
