book and idiocy
« on: March 31, 2012, 08:24:09 pm »

Saw an interesting book in the Postscript (remaindered books) catalogue - history of the ship in illuminated manuscripts 11th to 16th centuries, so have ordered one. Then went to glue fore and aft bulkheads on to schooner keelson - damped, glued everything then put fore bulkhead in and whacked it well into its joint. Picked up the other one to fit aft - "that's funny, it says bowsprit fitting"! Hastily upwhacked "fore"  bulkhead and put them back in the right places. Maybe I should take up embroidery.
