it gets weirder....... just loaded another pic at a different aspect onto photobucket (I use photobucket for all my online pics, never had a problem with other forums). pasted it onto mayhem prefs, and got the red X again. Tried to put back the same pic thats been showing on these posts, and I;ve STILL got the red X.
I think I'll go without untill things settle down abit.

Did you find your old avatar in the list Bob?
If so have you tried using that - I had no problem with that.
Other images I just use the add image button for everything.

no, I'm one of the unlucky ones who has lost all old connections. It took Martin about 5 goes just to get me logged back in at all, and then another few to get my old name back.

Its strange that pic that DID work, no longer does?
