Boat Race motor launch
« on: April 12, 2012, 03:09:54 pm »

During the Boat Race this last weekend, the crews were followed by observers in a long, low, narrow motor launch.   Does anyone know what this type of boat is called, please?   Pete

Didn't get to see it myself as I was away for Easter weekend but going on past races they normally use a Thames Slipper Launch.

Many thanks to you both.   I Googled "Thames Slipper Launches" and got the boat itself, named "Majestic".  Have emailed to ask if they have any plans.  Pete
