• SKEGNESS Lifeboat / Open DAY: July 28, 2012

Hi everyone,does anybody know if skegness are having an open day (normally the end of july)but have not heard anything if it`s on or off

To all model lifeboaters,"SKEGNESS OPEN DAY" is on saturday 28th july sorry for the short notice,but i have just been told by younger at 70,and the coxswain of skegness lifeboat station so let`s hope it will be a nice day and to see some models on display.baloo

Not so much an open day more Lifeboat day in Skegness , boats are displayed in the boat house from about 8am and are usualy taken out while the full size rescue takes place ,at about 3pm, take your own food and drink. and a large ruler to keep little hands from the models

Are you going bob,(and yes i have got a ruler & something else)as if you are going i will bring those items for bridlington model boat club(only film pots)

skegness open lifeboat day (including model lifeboats etc) raised a total of £5500,i would like to thank coxswain john irvine and the staff for a wonderful day
