Hi neil, the white 47' watson was called soloman brown owned by a gentleman from mansfield, didn`t get his name but he said his shed at home is full of different lifeboats eg.over 20 ! but it was a lovely model.Adrian clutterbuck(lifeboat enthusiasts society) took some photo`s so he might remember his name. All i remember he did say who won the trophy for best boat? it was won by a steam trawler, and he said i thought it was for "best" lifeboat anyway it was called soloman brown sorry to be a bit long winded

  8) Hi to you all, regarding the trophy awarded at Papplewick Lifeboat day, i asked a visiting member of the public with no connection to any mobel boaters, to choose the model boat they liked the best, this did not have to be a lifeboat and the lady choose the fishing trawler.  O0 Lets face it guys we had some excellent Models both on display and sailing, the weather was great and i hope you all have a good time.  >>:-( If i have up set some rivet counter regarding  the trophy <:( <:( well if thay wish to purchase a trophy  and forword me the invocie ill refund them of the cash OK  <*< <*<
   Kind regards Roger  :police: :police:
