I am in the final stages of running down to full retirement. I have had a long interest in building model boats, mainly though not exclusively from kits. I have long held the ambition to build a fairly large scale model of the Moray Firth fishing vessels that so impressed me in the 60's and 70's, with or without a covered foredeck: see example photos attached.
I have spent ages search the internet for line plans and came across this: Diesel Ring Net Fishing Boat - LINES FOR SCALE MODEL by Harold Underhill, A.M.I.E.S with the description as “This is one of the 48 ft. bright varnished fishermen so well known in our smaller fishing ports and harbours. The plans, which are to a scale of 1/2" = 1' 0", have been prepared to meet the needs of those desiring a really authentic scale model, and are suitable for either showcase or working models. Unfortunately, there is no accompanying image to see that I have the correct plans for my selected vessel type.
