Thank you,Dave,Francis,Dan,Ned,and all Mayhemers.
We did 66 miles before we stopped.
It was very hard on me,Andy, and the rest of the team.
Did we fail ? NO we did not.
We collected £60 for the RNLI,and that is going to Dungerness.
The Royal British legion Money we will count up later, and i would think it sould be arond the same amount.
As for the boat it will be back on the water tomorrow if i get time.
This is just the end of part one.
Part two follows very soon with us collecting even more money.
So everyone wins.....
kind regards
Alan

Very well done guys & galls 66 miles! you havent failed at all.
Multiply the miles by the scale of the boats, that is the real mileage I recon.
1/12  x  66 = 792 miles. well its worth a try. :-)) {-)

Hi Mayhemers,
Well the boat is repaired. She has new stronger couplings.
We have possibilities of three new venues for the Guinness World Record attempt.
This time the boat will be faster aswell.
We will let you know the date and venue very soon.

regards
Alan, Andy and the team

Hi everyone,The Wildcat is back on the water.
She is stronger and faster than before.
We took her to the Southend model boat club open weekend.
She did just over 7miles around the lake at southend.
Should have a new date and venue soon.
I we will let you all know.
Here are some picture and video of her back on the water.
One of the video's are of her at the start of the record attempt

Hi everyone,Back to re making the jet drive cat.
I have now gone to direct drive and more powerfully motors.
She now has 700kv motors 1800watts.
Before she had belt gear drive with 900kv motors 1350watts 1.5:1.
Here are some picture.
Hoping to have it on the water next weekend.

Can I ask another stupid question please Alan?

What batteries are you planning to use on the lower  Kv Set up?
