Hi there, any one built a Graupner Bugsier 3 tug boat? I have got one arriving on Tuesday for my next project and was wondering if there are any tricky bits that may catch me out.
Thanks in anticipation,
Regards,
Nick.

Yep, make a hatch on the rear deck, where the winch is. Trust me on this one, shaft / rudder / motor access is a right b- to do without one...

Ah, many thanks, I will be on my guard. I am going to rc the towhook, will I need an extra fitting kit for that, or is it all in the box? Do you have any photos of the build and/or the finished job?
Many thanks,
Nick.

The hook is part of the superstructure, and is literally just a hook nothing else, so you'll have to make sure the hatch is very well secured to avoid it just flying off.
This one was mine

I'll have to admit to not building it, well not all of it, I just finished it off and added the internals

This is my old Bugsier, somewhat modified as you can see, and renamed 'Berius'.
