hello from Spain
« on: June 04, 2012, 12:21:27 pm »

Hello

My name is Enrique A. Iglesias

I am from Spain,

I found your fantastic online forum, seeking Information About plywood.....

I am a sport pilot, and I'm building my own plane.  To help other builders, I can manufacture thin Okume plywood, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm

I would like to know your opinion. In your hobby do you want thin Okume plywood?.

Thanks

Enrique A. Iglesias

Hello

Hey guys

Maybe my blood carries some gene Julio I. :-))

I am in NW Spain, in front of Portugal, Atlantic, and near the city of Santiago de Compostela  ( the Way of St. James)

Please, my question is not spam, I need to know your needs ...

I want to know if my plywood is good for your boats......  I wish some of you try my plywood.

I will not break the rules, only know if you can be good for you

In modeling is used birch plywood, poplar, or liteply, but nothing okume, why?.

Saludos y Thanks.

is this what you are talking about  Okoume Plywood

Okoume plywood is sometimes know in the UK as gaboon plywood and is incorporated into a wide range of end-uses. It is regularly used in  the manufacture of yachts and other vehicles where a relatively lightweight plywood product is required, especially where a guaranteed exterior performance is a necessity.

Other exterior applications include the manufacture of external window shutters, or other parts of buildings, such as external facades and claddings. It is also used in other applications such as furniture, musical instruments and packaging.

This wood is also available as okoume fineline plywood
