redoing my orca.

Hello all.

After looking at the level of skill on this site I want to improve my model orca, I want to remake  the ladder. which i think means buying metal tubing and soldering. I have never solderd anything, could any of you give advice.

A tip when soldering ladders and where there are joints close by is to one use heat sinks as soon as you solder a joint give it a min then put some sort of heat sink on it metal Paper clip's etc or metal weight also if very close use two types of solder their are plenty available for model railway brass kits  ://www.chronos.ltd.uk/acatalog/Engineering_Menu_Carrs_Solders___Fluxes___etc_346.html sell Carrs products and Good Bakers No2 flux this is a must clean clean clean and a HOT iron

If you have never soldered before a ladder would be about the worst place to start, in this case buy one, it could prevent a suicide. Mick B.
