David O'Sullivan (Misty) - RIP
« on: July 03, 2012, 12:08:00 pm »

Hello Martin

I have the unenviable task of advising you that David O'Sullivan (Misty), founder member and treasurer of Great Yarmouth Model Boat Club, sadly passed away on Sunday 10th June.
David was doing what he enjoyed best, preparing a club display at the Museum of the Broads when he suffered a massive heart attack and died.
It has been a huge shock to the club, especially those of us who were with him at the time, when despite all our efforts nothing could be done to save him.
We will be holding a 'memorial regatta' in the near future and will place the details on our website.

In the meantime I seem to have inherited much of the work that David did, which I will undertake to the best of my ability.

Kind regards

Alan Leedham
Club Secretary & Treasurer

This has come as a shock to me. I brought something from him this year. We arranged for me to collect from his house. He was a real gentleman. My thoughts are for his wife. May he R.I.P. John.
