     Is there anyone who may be able to help me out with a photo of the front of a Fowler Lifeboat Tractor please? What I am actually wanting is the Fowler Nameplate, so that I can reproduce it for my model.This nameplate/badge/logo,differs from that on a Fowler Traction Engine,the type I am seeking is a sort of "spread wings"

thanks Mike,that is the type I am looking for,but the badge is out of focus,or is it my eyesight? What I am hoping for is a straight on photo,that I can print out and mount on card or plasticard,to give me the shape?

There's a chap near me who has one of those, tho not in the RNLI livery. It comes into my Father in laws workshop now and then so I can get a pic of the badge next time its in

Hi Lance,
Its static I'm afraid,nothing moves on it,because it is made almost entirely from cardboard (weetabix boxes and the like!) The tracks are made from a lorry timing belt.When I get the decals,nd working lights it may look a little more realistic I hope,but it is a bit unusual,and looks good in front of my Liverpool Lifeboat.Mostly made from the photos you let me have so thanks again.

Just to add a little interest to my Fowler Tractor,I managed to get a recording of the start up and run of a Fowler motor this weekend while at a Rally in Somerset.I will play this short recording on occasions,during one of my Lifeboat displays.It is not tip top sound,as it was taken on my digital camera using the movie option.It was at the time actually Hissing down with rain,the rally,sadly having been abandoned because of the weather,which was atrocious.But the Rally organised by the West Somerset Steam Rally,will be back next year!

thats very kind of you to offer.I am waiting for my pal to be in a good mood before I ask him to play around with this one.He got a bit peeved after failing with the last one and noy getting anywhere!
