SURFURY IS READY
« on: June 11, 2012, 08:43:20 pm »

THE surfury is ready for this weekends show at Weston Park.
As a member of Telford Model Boat club we have been invited to put on a show at the Model plane show.
Small pool but Surfury will be there,  so pleased she is finished.
Bought of ebay a couple of months ago,  stripped ic engine out and replaced shaft and motor.  Repairs to superstructure,  resprayed and looking gorgeous.
Well proud to have a classic boat.
Looking forward to Wednesday afternoon to see how she performs with her new esc.
First time out esc under performed.
Picture attached.

Help required please?
She was caviting today on a x50 prop,  should I change up or down on props?

go slightly bigger but check after one lap of the lake how hot the motor is, if there is weed you will just burn something out so I wouldn't run

Hi There is weed on our main pool,  but this was at Weston Park yesterday
trailing our show pool out for Saturdays show.
Took the Huntsman out on to our main. Pool and weed was everywhere motor got
very hot,  so decided it was not a good idea.

Hi
I bought it off Ebay, damage to cockpit and a ICe engine on board.
Took this out and replaced it with a brushless, just waiting for another opportunity to try he with a different prop.
Cavity a a little at moment.
