Small Objects of Desire
« on: June 24, 2012, 09:25:40 pm »

Small Objects of Desire was an old BBC title and that's the only similarity with this post.

I was looking at this little half covered boat and thinking what a lovely object it was just of itself

when the old program title above popped in my head.

Now I wonder what small and prefferably insignificant objects we would each like?
I thought about it and decided if I could have anything then it would just be my Grandfather's medals (where???).
On a practical and achieveable note  - a Lapis Lazuli ring - I once watched a program on what it takes to mine it. I don't even wear rings/watches etc %%

So what are yours? ..................... notice I didn't say 'what's yours' I can't afford a big round of drinks this week.

I often go to car boot sales...........one of my aims being to find some nice treen, a bit of carved ivory or the most prized would be a little object made from micro mosaic....................I would love a piece of that..............then again a gold, silver or bronze RNLI medal wouldn't go amiss either, lol

Ah but now that you've piped up Wullie (and nice as your bride must be) what little object would you really like to have?
I think it's not really an easy question. :-))
