Water cooling inlets?

Another newbie question:

Where is the best place to put the inlets for a water cooling system, assuming that the rudder doesn't feature any?

Also, what sort of ducting is recommended, and is there a standard diameter for the piping used in the hull? I see some ESCs and motor mounts have built-in water jackets with connection tubes on them.

Depends on the type of hull and the level of cooling required

what sort of boat are you building?

The boat is a knockoff of Graupner's B-24 powerboat. My current plan for it is to stick with the stock twin 380 motors until they burn out, then consider upgrading. I may not even need water cooling, however I do want to add scale exhaust pipes either side of the tailfin, and as the videos I have seen of the real V-24 show (presumably) cooling water squirting out of these exhausts, I want to try to reproduce the effect in miniature.

Last thing you want with electrics is any air inlets ie ducting this just lets water in when you flip and by bye electrics lol,just water cool the motors.Water cooling tubing needs to be arround 3 mm internal diam.Best water inlets apart from the rudder ones are the flush type these cause zero drag and go arround 1" up from keel arround 1-2" from transom.
