Salvador Dali & Nellie irene tugs

All  a couple of pictures of my two new builds one of the Salvador Dali SDM tug on an evening sailing and a couple of my other build nearing completion of the nellie Irene Canadian fast logging tug. I will post more of the build of Nellie Irene later

Larger pictures of the SDM would be nice.
Maybe 800 pixels wide, or  11 inches wide.
Then we could see the details and work you put into the Salvador
Dali.

The Salvidor Dali looks impressive ,how does it handle and tow, Would be nice to see some more pictures of the build and the inside,What size is she ?

I think,... Paint the base and tops of your lamps white, then black them out.
Love the solar panels.

As for towing, SDM tugs tow beautifully.

always fancied building a canadian logging tug,,, anyone know if you can get a GRP hull  in the UK ?- i know there is a chap in canada/ USA called gary who  has supplied in the past....

funnily enough i will be in canada with work in 2013, i wonder if i can get one in my suitcase ?

Hi All,
The Salvador dali is 1/32 scale approximatly 30in in length with a beam of 19in (including fenders). Its fantastic at towing and can tow in any direction as well as manouver easily.
When I get a bit more practise on the TX i may be able to make it dance. Comments from club members were that they hope I would not be entering the steering competion as I would have an unfair advantage.

HI Ray.
About a weeks time, just testing motors etc before I put the deck on. Also I need to stick on the fendering and a few bits & bobs ( deck clutter and it's finished.
