Arriving This Fall At Internet Hobbies!
TRUMPETER 1/200 SCALE BATTLESHIP BISMARCK KIT

This long awaited HUGE kit is finally coming!

The Bismarck was one of the most feared battleships in WWII prior to its sinking in the North Sea in May 1941. The kit consists of over 1700 parts including a one-piece hull, single-piece deck, 4 Ar196 aircraft, detailed guns, photo-etched handrails, ladders, radar parts, etc., display stand, metal gun barrels, metal anchor chain and propeller shaft and very detailed instructions. Completed kit measures nearly 50" long, and its beam measures over 7".

Trumpeter's Bismarck is the only kit on the market today that is truly worth the name of this famous ship. We expect shortages very soon after its release because of pent up demand created since Trumpeter announced this kit. We would strongly advise getting your advance reservation in now. You won't want to miss out on this kit.

SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE: $399.95

I just clicked on to the website and yes she looks really great at 299.00 but then I saw the Yamamoto at nearly 600.00 all motorized and a big vessel she is also. Anyone out there done a conversion on her yet or has one??? I bet she would be a delight to do after the Nimitz. Makes you think does'nt it???

and then I saw the Russian Model of the3 Soveremenny Class and I thought hang on that's a dead ringer for the Chinese Destroyer I converted to Radio Control with the 4 channel etc which I posted in another section. I thought it was a toy but on looking at it and the way my Destroyer sails so scale like I am really pleased that it is in fact a recognized Destroyer class see what I mean.

That is the Chinese version from Trumpeter

This is the Russian version from Trumpeter. I must say it looks very close to the Ebay Destroyer. and once you get rid of that Vector drive and give her a respray etc she does come up like the real deal.

We have an enquiry about RC conversion from a customer who wants to fit three motors. I was going to suggest 3 x 385's on 7.2v. Does that sound about right with you plastic-magic geezers?

Suggest you look at Dean's Marine site. You will find options for 1 to 3 motors.

I'm going to use a single motor in mine.
