HMS Ocean
« on: July 14, 2012, 09:25:13 pm »

HMS Ocean was manoeuvred into its dock at Greenwich, east London, yesterday where it will serve as a mighty military defence and home to service personnel during the Games.

Some nice pics here along with a bit of propaganda of course -

 >>:-( ....I had no real issue with the television coverage in OZ & thanks Hawkeye for the images of HMS Ocean .......but the coverage did show the British media in their true competent form  :embarrassed: .....introducing the British solder as a Lieutenant Corporal   <*< ......he is the same Alex Walton [on the left] as shown in the image below

I thought he spoke well for a Lieutenant or for that matter a Corporal ........ O0 .......Derek

These guys must be amazing shots - would never have thought to put together snipers and the stable platform that is a military helicopter!!   :D   :D    :D

Oh and if an olympic stadium doesn't make an attractive enough terrorist target, I'm sure the addition of large lump of military hardware such as hms ocean will intice.......

Welcome to Bagdad london!!
