Fairmount Alpine - rubbing strips?
« on: August 03, 2012, 07:24:34 pm »

  :-)
Making steady progress with this Billing's Model. I am trying to research into what the side rubbing strips are made of.

My idea was to use half round PVC at about 5mm wide but I can only locate 3mm wide.

Do any Mayhem members have any ideas?

Regards,
Ceres.

What part of the boat?

Most of the grid along the forward part of the boat are flat reinforcing plates.

:-))Many thanks to you both for your reply. This now gives me some idea as to what to use to simulate reinforced plates.
