Help with motor/battery/ESC
Doncasterlouis:
I folks new to the forum, so would like to to say hi, and also would really like some help
So I've made a bait boat and it's been doin the job ok, but I just want a little more out of it,
I'm currently running it on a 360 motor, 7.2v motor and mtronics viper 10, I'm going to upgrade the motor to a robbe 4105 drive system,
But Im struggling with the battery, what's the best voltage/ ampere? Should I use a lead acid or nimh? Thanks in advance,
Regards
Louis
Stavros:
Can You please post a pic of the boat Personally i dont think the Robbie one will do the job BUT if we can see a pic it would help immensly.
As regards to batts obviously a Minh pck is far pighter than a lead acid batt

Doncasterlouis:
Hi Dave, thanks for the reply, I don't currently have a pic, will get one the next few days, I just went abit more power out of it, but want the battery to last Aslong as possible
Stavros:
That power set up I personally think is more akin to a speedboat lets get a pic and we can advise you properly
