silly q ?? will 4 or 6 channell  recevers +work with a 2 channel transmitter all are futuba 40

As long as the tx and RX are both 40M AM or 40M FM then yest they should work, tho obviously only 2 channels will work

Might not be the same sticks that you would be using on a 2 channel TX, though.
