Convert?
« on: July 17, 2012, 05:38:27 pm »

Hope this is a simple one!! I have acquired a yacht which has Ripmax/Futaba servos. The leads end in a plug with pins but I want to connect them to a HiTec RX which also has pins. Is there a conversion link or a male to male lead available.
I would be glad of your advice please.

Component Shop will make the leads you need
They are in the traders directory

If the servos are old enough for that kind of connection, it might be not that much more to just replace them with modern ones, with the advantage of less age related wear ant tear.

Grateful thanks for the advice and comments. It does seem the best form of action is to change the servos although the winch is in good health so I will probably just replace the plug.
Thanks again
