Why has postimage stopped working  it has been okay in the past.

Just trip over to them and sign up. Then start a folder and upload your pictures.

When you view your picture and click on it, a box will open up Image links on it

Click on HTML code and it will say 'copied'

Come back here and paste it into your posting.

The advantage of this method is that you can add further writing under the picture.     :-))

Hope this helps

Lets give Gra2 back his thread. Sorry about that but a lot is talked of the image posting lately.  I'm sure it will come out all right in the end.

What did you use for the scramble nets? Do they unroll?

Hi Dave,
I used rigging twine dyed with a tea bag.I layed out the shape based on the plan with lots of nails around perimeter and tied of each
square with fine twine and a small dab of s/glue.
Net could be rolled down but i have tied it down on deck.

Yes try Lithoplate. I was lucky enough to get some from a friendly Printer; nice chap and he wouldn't accept anything in return. One type was smaller and thinner sheets (used) but the second lot was unused, thicker, and huge sheets from a defunct machine. Winner  :-)) He said he was much happier giving it away for a good use than scrapping it for a few quid.

If you need the thicknesses I can go out and measure it - it's snowing just now.

Hi Graham you can try .5mm thick plastic card as I did on the one I built but I made a jig to keep the shape of the turret
by the way your model looks spot on

Hi Derek,
The hatch forward of the rear turret was an escape hatch, the hatch behind the rear turret was the engine room hatch.
Trunk hatch on the port side of s/structure was for stretcher cases and the crew compartment hatch was forward at the bow.
Skippers conning hatch is next to searchlight.
