Traxxas nitro Vee jetboat

I had an old traxxas nitro vee is was ok O0 i thought i can make this more interesting so i removed the nitro motor and "beefed" up the transom fitted an 8s motor and 40mm jetdrive unit with reverse bucket  %%











need to find a shallow fast flowing river now

Thanks mart don't know how long it will last i have had to brace the motor back to the jetdrive unit the hull is made out of thin "butty box" plastic  :}

I am having a workshop clearout at present, and have just come across one of these drives from the 70/80's.

It was originally installed in an arrowshaft hull, but it never got an engine and never hit the water. 

Unfortunately the Arrowshaft is long gone, but I shall have to decide what to do with the jet unit

Its just a test bed Mart if it works i will find a bigger mono ( 33" delta force or one of them jonny chong china boats) wanted more scale looking speed boat if poss
