looking for help iding old yacht

Hello can anybody help I have bought this yacht to restore and I wondered if anybody can help with an ID for it

Hi, definitely an Inga IV, I have one and they sail beautifully. I did a restoration on the one I have and if I can help at all let me know.

               I have the plans and build manual for the Revell/ hegi Inga IV if you need a copy for the refit.

Hi Andyk, the wood work was scraped with a sharp lino cutting blade.  This gives a better surface than sanding does. Then the finish was thinned down varnish applied with a small pad on the finger.  This puts a very thin layer on and no brush marks.The varnish dries in minutes in warm weather and you can apply quite a few in a day.

If you use matt varnish this works well but can be brought to a shine by wiping with white spirit before it is dried.

Hope your restoration goes well, I had a split and warped mast which I decided to repair rather than discard.
