Some of the Peba kits are now on eBay. My little mooring tug should turn up in a couple of days.  Should be nice little Xmas vacation project, start to finish. There were 9 left after I took one yesterday.

Hi Roy I just find it each time on a search: has come up every time at the top (actually it seems there are 2 listings from the same, no others).  Not home at the moment so a family member is taking parcels and presume it's been delivered a couple of days ago from the sounds of it but not seen it myself just yet.

A problem with googling for something like "peba tug boat kit" is that it bases its search on your previous searches, and if it can't find the exact match it just coughs up anything with a few of your search words in it.  Ebay links to a search like that just as bad - they won't admit that they haven't got what you are looking for and offer lots of "alternatives".

That 'kit' has been on many times before - it's in really poor condition.   Probably worth it for the parts.

Sorry, just seen reply. I was of course refering to the search on eBay though I do agree, Google has some strange tendencies on searches sometimes.  I can't easily post links from phone sorry. Actually I think Modelshopleeds are also selling now.  There's more suppliers in the UK it seems now. Ref that eBay seller, the kit came from a different modelshop from the eBay listing. Had no problems but caveat emptor when I see that.

Ref that tug kit above. I saw that a few times also. I think there's maybe more than the almost ready to run tag says LoL

I would be very interested but "collection only" from Rotheram is unfortunately a non stsrter for me.

I've seen this - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Model-Slipway-kit-Broom-44-1-16-960mm-long-boxed-complete-unstarted/193864327039?hash=item2d2336df7f:g:kcoAAOSwprlgDvvn

It's a Broom 44 cruiser by Model Slipway  - it looks very complete and well engineered - can anyone tell me if it can be built quickly or is it a pain to get it on the water?  Cheers

I've just put onto the e-bay site my unmade Comet Miniatures kit from the late 1980s of Jules Verne's Submarine Nautilus, scaled at 1/350 giving a model length of about 12 inches. Item number 174612987469 if you are interested.

It says collection in person on the Wiesel. So during a pandemic if your playing to the rules presumably that limits you essentially within walking distance, and with a good excuse for an essential meet-up with someone else.  I'm guessing hardly anything "collection only" is selling at the moment?
