Huntsman enquiry
« on: August 11, 2012, 11:09:23 am »

Hi guys, can anyone tell me what wood was used on the decks of the original Huntsman 31?
And on the subject of motor mounts what is the best way of securing a motor mount to a fibre hull?

Regards
Steve.

try a watercooled brushles mount just glass it in the hull, you can use a brushed motor in them, I have seen a few huntsmans with fiberglass hulls using this type of mount

Yep thats the mount I have in mine, with a BL outrunner.
I laid up 2 6x6mm wooden runners into the base of the hull for the mount to screw into.
