Demoted to Shipmate

Chaps - as with many members, after the Mayhem Meltdown I've had to re-register (maintaining my previous Username) I have been demoted to Shipmate, and have 'lost' my postings/messages. Is there any way of re-acquainting my re-registered account with my previous one so that I can continue as normal?
