Battery Charging

I have recently changed from lead acid batteries to Nimah 12v 5000mh race packs, i have also purchased a Sigma  all siningingand dancing charger,
What amps and how long do i charge these batteries for any help greatly appreciated

A lot depends on what you're using them for, but for general purpose use, charge them at 1-2C

1C is the rated capacity of 5A or 2C is 10A - charge time depends on the charger, which should turn off when the battery's full - just remember to select the NiMh setting for battery type.

Don't forget though that 'hot off the charger' the pack will read around 15-16 volts, so unless you're racing them don't give it loads of welly to start with, as that voltage is higher than liked by most brushed ESCs.
