New F1 project building plug and moulds
« on: August 19, 2012, 06:16:30 pm »

Thought id share my latest project
Working of the previous build and proving well so far thought id start the next version but this time instead of an all wood hull im building plugs to mould them instead
There is some minor tweaks to improve performance after studying the runs with the other F1
So far iv built the lower hull plug and getting it ready to mould, once moulded ill then lay up the 1st lower and build the topdeck directly on it then mould the top half but this will have too be mould in 2halves due to the design
There is also some changes to the center pod and canopy to make installing the engine etc easier and easier to work on im going to be doing radio box aswell for perfect fitment into the hull this 1 will be inboard version I am working on a 48" new design with a look like no other F1 for outboard
i will be doing an Ob cowl to suit to hide away the exhaust
This is the hull im working off and improved design

Heres the Lower hull plug

And here is how it looks now all coated, wetsand and polished up ready for several coats of release wax, hoping to mould it this week coming

Will update as build progresses

I do hope you realise just how many people you have upset by showing this boat.

Men up and down the country are trying to prove to their wives they they need one of these boats, not want NEED.

Men of all ages are now looking pitifull instead of strong, showing weakness to their wives, doing washing up and making tea etc.
Men from far and wide trying their best to impress to their wives that they only want to be able to buy one of these for themself
for christmas out of their own hard earned money.
How can we mere men justify spending $%$% when we have told her indoors that she dont need a new hand bag as the tesco
bags are a bag for life and well in fashion ?????
There are now Men promising to do jobs around the house that they had no intentions of ever doing, hoovers being serviced, curtain rods repaired, dustbins emptied and washed out !!!!!!! cupboard door hinges re-aligned, cielings painted, even walking the family dog armed with pocket fulls of POO BAGS   :((
mother in laws being greeted with smiles not the usual greetings  <*<
infact so much creeping that its beyond belief.
All this just to be able to get their hands on one of these marvels of maritime engineering.

I do hope you know your causing such misery to all the men who have seen this beast.

I myself am not a lover of the formula 1 type craft, never have been, and this is not what i consider to be a boat
To me this is a magnificent work of art, and would look absolutely brilliant in my front room.

i might just have to start believing in santa clause again and send him a letter, registered post ofcourse.

Now i know you want to race it and beat everyone  O0

But just incase it dont start   >>:-(  <:(
ive got a couple of ideas so you dont look silly   <*<

1/ You tell folk you only took it along to show just how nice it is and waiting for a part for the engine before running it. :police:

or you could always use this one and say
"the new special non cracking super paint is not yet hard enough so cant race it today"  %%
